Senior Vice President Corporate Development
Rob Duthie is Senior Vice President Corporate Development, assuming this position in May 2016 following the transaction between Datalog Technology and an outside investment group to jointly launch Cordax Evaluation Technologies. Mr. Duthie joined Datalog Technology in 2007 to head up the newly formed downhole logging divisions, advancing from Division Managing Director to corporate President & COO in 2013 and continues to sit on the Board of Directors. He was responsible for the initial development and global commercialization of the Logging While Tripping (LWT) technology including R&D, manufacturing, operations, and business development. Under Mr. Duthie, the LWT technology expanded from drawing board concept to commercial operations on four continents. He was also responsible for commercialization of Datalog’s Canadian oil sands focused Slim Line Wireline service as well as oversight of Latin American Surface Logging operations. Mr. Duthie began his career in 1994 with Baker Hughes, advancing from field engineer through operations, geoscience, sales, business development, and product line management within the Formation Evaluation Division. He was involved in land and offshore logging operations in Canada, US, UK, and North Africa.
A registered Professional Engineer with APEGA, Mr. Duthie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Manitoba as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from the Australian Institute of Business.
